Hey, there’s not much to say about a jag. It either works or it doesn’t. This one works it works very well and it’s kind of heavy so it seems like it’s made of a decent brass alloy. I have aluminum jags, nylon jags ( never again) and in identified metal jags but I prefer brass, and this one was very reasonably priced (It’s about half the price of the Tipton Jags) . I’m hesitant to use the “mystery alloy” because I don’t wanna scratch the barrel. I’m not gonna write 10 paragraphs about a tiny little brass cylinder. But this one is very good. Not only is it perfectly sized but I believe the geometry of the ridges and the convenient point for spearing the patches are designed really well. The bevels seem to allow a smoother slide through the board and some of my others. And the point is sharper so it’s really easy to get the patch on. You’ll be good to go buying this one .It's cheaply and roughly made. The threads are a bit loose but hold jag to rod well enough and it is sized to hold a regular patch. You will want to use it with a round patch. There's too much body to handle the bunching of square patches. But it holds a patch well. I cleaned a few guns with it and never lost a patch. In summary, not great but for the money? It works. Its a jag...it fits on the end of a cleaning rod, smooth brass, and does the job. Can really write a whole paragraph on a jag. It works, so buy it.Use it for quick cleaning of the barrel. I push the cleaning brush through with #9, and then follow it up with several clear using this jig. Then a few with CLP to keep everything lubricated. That's it.Fit was good great priceproduct as describedCan't beat it for the money. No issues with quality. Brass jag; does what it's supposed to. I like that the .40 size is etched into the side. A lot of cheaper jags don't have this.Sized correctly and works with most cleaning rods.Repeat of the 9mm one > Excellent, fits my cheap Oute** brass rod and are much better than the plastic ones provided (broke them actually) Well made, solid brass not cheap pot metal electro plated brass color, longer and that means more rubbing power against the inner walls of the barrel. Looks better than the picture too 5 stars.Excellent, fits my cheap Oute** brass rod and are much better than the plastic ones provided (broke them actually) Well made, solid brass not cheap pot metal electro plated brass color, longer and that means more rubbing power against the inner walls of the barrel.
