It is handy but it shouldn’t cost over a hundred dollars. It’s seems to be decent quality.I really like this bag as a deck bag for my kayak. It has lots of space for my camera, spare jacket, water bottle etc. It attaches securely to deck lines and stays in place. Also, there is an inner plastic sheet that shapes the bag - I had to trim it quite a bit to fit better. But the big deal is the external bag is not waterproof (thought somewhat water repellent). There is an internal bag with a stiff zip lock the keeps things dry. It is a hassle to unzip the outer bag, then have to wrestle with the inner bag to get my stuff - particularly if I'm in a hurry, like trying to take a picture. So I've removed the inner bag and put each of my things in separate zip locks. I could have bought a less expensive deck bag as the inner liner stays at home when I paddle.Do not buy this bag at full price. $100 USD for this bag is outrageous. I have a 105cm Beuchat free-diving fin bag with a cooler, large compartment with enough room to store my fins + a full wetsuit/boots/gloves, and that was $109 USD. I received a FREE deck bag with the purchase of my Tahoe Zephyr SUP (HIGHLY recommended!) and it has more volume, is made of material that is more water resistant, and has heavy duty clips for the deck plugs. That being said, I can tell they went to a lot of trouble designing this bag. The zippers are of good quality, the nylon is tough (but will soak), it looks great and the barn shape provided by the plastic insert is a nice touch. It has Velcro back straps for tethering to deck rigging along with plastic carabiners for attaching to deck plugs, and an inner dry bag that Velcros into the inside of the bag for stability. They definitely went to great lengths designing a solid deck bag, but the price is exorbitant. This should be a $68 USD item at the absolute most, so if you want to buy one get it on a discount if you can. The dry bag is basically trash that will rip if you breath on it wrong, the two side mesh pockets with elastic bungees are not stitched at the bottom making it easy for things to fall out, and they are just small enough NOT to fit a 1 liter water bottle. TBH you could probably jerry rig an existing backpack you have lying around with some pop-chord and a few carabiners. Or you could rig a high quality, durable dry bag with a little knot work. You'd have yourself a deck bag large enough to stow what you need and you'd have a hundred more dollars to put towards a new boat.. Anyway, I like supporting highly specific outdoor gear companies and this product is well designed/made so all in all I`m relatively happy. Just make sure you don't have any other big ticket items on your to-buy list (UNLIKELY!) before you purchase this bad boy.I love this bag. It is so easy to get what you want out of it, especially my phone. In fact after I bought mine my friend liked it so much she bought the same one. Would definitely recommend it.Kayak pack is OK but find hard to separate the different pouches. One is slippery and most of all area for my water bottle isn't stitched at bottom so have had bottle slip out. Seems water proof enough but haven't had it in full rain. I tend to pack it heavy as stay out on river all day. Camera in slippery pouch, lunch and other supplies in second pouch. Main thing camera would be dry if downpour. I feel the price is a bit much for the product. Does snap onto my Wilderness dashboard nicely. I problably would buy again now I know the ups and downs. Happy Kayaking !Overall, a high quality product from a company with a reputation for top notch gear. However, I was disappointed with the overall design and functionality of this product. The very narrow outer mesh side pockets are oddly shaped with a larger opening on the bottom and smaller on the top of the bag. I was hoping to use these pockets for water containers but only the smallest of water bottles will fit in this pocket and will most likely slip out the bottom when picked up by its grab handle. The second design issue is the dry bag that is located on the inside main compartment, which has an difficult to close ziplock seal and limited ability to roll top it close. Thirdly, the plastic insert to maintain the bags structure is simply held in place by tension and has a tendency to shift about. The placement is not at all secure and moves around easily within the inside of the bag. There needs to be designed some small pockets in the fabric for the ends of the plastic to insert, limiting movement. In addition to the grab handle, a simple shoulder strap should be included. In searching the web for a deck bag for an SUP, the pickings were very slim. All I could find was an ugly yellow bag that looked like it was designed for a kayak, not an SUP. When I came across the Taj M'Haul I loved the colors, but I was concerned that the bag would be too tall and would block me from switching my paddle between hands. That's not the case at all, however. The bag only sits about 5 inches off the board, leaving plenty of room for transfers over it. I even have room to sit my waterproof speaker on top of the bag with room to spare. The bag has clips to attach it to your rigging, and seems very solidly built. There's a bungee cord around the outside of the bag and elastric straps that allow for attaching a water bottle, or you can get a cup-holder built to attach to the bag.The only thing I would change is not specifically with this bag so it will not detract from this review score, but however with the cup holder sold as a separate accessory. The cup holder is too small to hold a Camelbak 1L bottle, which in my opinion is an average-sized water bottle. If you drink beer from a can while out on your kayak or SUP you may enjoy the cupholder, but I found it to be too small to be usable.-TreeburnerCTExactly as described and super easy to use. The plastic piece that holds the arch was bent when arrived so I put it in the sun with a couple books to flatten it. After it flattened, I folded it back in and the shape holds perfectly now. Would recommend this product! Waterproof bag inside is brilliant and works perfectly.
