I don't know about some of the other claims made for this one but here has been my experience:When you use it on dry, clean skin, it prepares it so well for skincare products. If I use this consistently, my skin just soaks up serums, even layered skincare with multiple products. Skin does tingle a little when using but I don't feel like it's discomfort. The plasma smell might make some people a little nervous but that's how you know it's working!If I have blemishes or those nasty under-the-surface bumps, a few passes with this shortens the time it takes for a flare-up to die down and go away.Easy to use with great results. I don't know that it's the perfect holy grail for skin or acne. Dealing with those issues requires a multi-faceted approach to tackle issues but this has helped.Interesting product. Uses electrical current to stimulate cell regeneration and sloughing, as well as smoothing out of wrinkles. I like that it helped me reduce inflammation of certain cystic acne breakouts. I saw a reduction in the cyst the following morning and then complete disappearance by the 3rd day (with continuous use of product over my cystic acne once a day for 3 days). This wouldn't happen on its own. Normally a pimply cyst would take a week, and sometimes even longer even if treating it with topical medication etc. It tingles and sometimes even hurts around certain areas of the face where the skin is thinner. I found that if your face isn't dry completely when using this machine, it will hurt even more as electricity reacts with hydrogen. It is like it zaps you more painfully than it is supposed too. But when that was corrected, and my face was patted dry better it hurt much less and just continued to tingle. I like this machine. I got this device for the occasional acne, but mostly the lower down the list claims of "producing more elastin, giving your skin more elasticity, smooth skin texture, and improve skin firmness".Using this device is much like using a high frequency device, sans the zaps of electrical shocks. It gives off the same Ozone, burning type smell, except not so strong.Upon research, I have found that plasma increases collagen production, so I'm curious as to why it is advisable to use the device every day. Usually, anything that causes collagen production, also causes slight damage to the dermal layer of the skin, thereby causing collagen production in the healing process. If you are causing damage daily, and not allowing time for the healing process, how does this ever allow the cycle to show real benefits in the long run?There is data in the listing and in the paperwork, but not enough public and clinical data to answer my questions about this device completely. So, for now, I find using this device 2-3 times a week more than sufficient. I am seeing fewer pimples that also clear quicker, and my skin, overall, is looking much smoother and tighter. It seems to be having a positive effect, so I feel less often use must be a good thing.I am using it as the directions state for whole face penetration. It does have three strengths, but it is a bit hard for me to discern any difference until the day after use. My skin does feel a bit tighter the day after using the highest setting than it does if I use the lowest. I alternate between strengths, so that my skin will have differing levels of healing. If I were to be using it for acne, I would follow the instructions for whole face penetration and focus on the acne areas only for a short time longer, if at all. But, I might also cut the daily use time down or use it every other day to see how it affected my skin. It doesn't take long for ozone to kill bacteria on the skin, so even one slow pass over the acne area would be sufficient.I've worked in the skincare business for over 30 years, and have seen a lot of facial and skincare technology, good and bad. This device is doing well for my skin the way I am using it. I know there is truth in the saying " you can have too much of a good thing", so I will use what I've learned, and use it my way instead of daily. But, to each their own. I am seeing a difference already. I think it is a good device and would definitely recommend it.I have acne-prone/oily/sensitive/reactive skin for reference.First of all, this baby is pricey. So I had very high expectations, and while this device did deliver some results…I’m still a little torn about the price point. It’s not something that you use for a while and then your face is all better, it is definitely a continued maintenance type of device. I was treating my acne for a few weeks. And while I didn’t see a drastic drop in acne, I did notice an instant reduction in redness. Like right after the first use. I was able to just spot conceal my face and go without any foundation. That is unheard of for me because my skin is usually red all over because it is super sensitive.The device is super easy to use, just follow the instructions provided. The zapping sound is a little scary at first, but there isn’t a sensation to go along with it…so I got used to it pretty quick. It comes ready to go and holds a charge for a very long time. I’m going to get a lot of use out of this thing, because it is so user friendly and quick to use. I’m more likely to incorporate it into my regular routine if it’s fast and easy.***I do want to note that the “before” and “after” images on the listing page are completely photoshopped and false advertisement. The before photos are probably real, but the afters are just photoshopped airbrushed makeup on the original photos.***I also want to note, that this device is not painful.
