To be completely honest I am disappointed in this product. First, it is not a Nikon product (which I thought I was buying) but a Vivitar brand. It does a pretty good job of auto focusing (I have a Nikon D300 w/18-200 lens) on something like a sign with large letters but never gets a sharp focus on people or scenery. I will look into returning this if possible.
