I had to replace several pool floor cleaners. This tool worked perfect. A few of my old floor cleaners were in pretty tight so I used a 3/8 socket extension bar and placed inside the tool's handle which served as lever and made the changes effortlessly. (Yes, I had to be on the pools bottom to do this method). (I am a scuba diver so I had weights to hold me down, but I am thinking you could use a weight on your back where if you needed to shed it to raise to the surface, you could just roll to your side. Summary - highly recommend.
